Pope John Paul II granted stainthood »

Pope John Paul II will be made a saint. The Vatican announced that it has approved a second miracle attributed to the pope.  He passed away in 2005.  Another former Pontiff, John XXIII, will also be granted sainthood.  There are no dates yet for the canonization ceremonies.
