Milan Records releases the Only God Forgives soundtrack on July 16. Composed by Cliff Martinez, the followup to Nicolas Winding Refn’s 2011 hit Drive was scored on a laptop from the composer’s hotel room in Thailand, where the film is set. The soundtrack features traditional Thai pop songs and a Thai folk instrument called the Pin (or Phin), which is similar to an electrified, three-stringed lute. Source Main page (current trends)
