Former Velvet Underground lead singer, rock pioneer and all-around musical genius Lou Reed died Sunday at the age of 71, according to Rolling Stone. The cause of death is currently unknown. The singer did undergo a liver transplant earlier this year, though.  Source Main page (current trends)
