Creigh Deeds, a veteran state legislator who ran unsuccessfully for governor of Virginia in 2009, was hospitalized with stab wounds Tuesday in an incident in which his son died of a gunshot wound, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports Source Main page (current trends)
