Chinese restaurant sign offers long-overdue thank you to Jews. »

Here's an old one making the rounds once more since it's almost that time of year again. When Jews and Chinese Restaurant owners come together on Dec. 25 to celebrate food, family, and fellowship in the midst of what is otherwise an eerily abandoned ghost town. It's nice to see that this place really appreciates that relationship — even if they seem to be under the impression that chicken lo mein is mandated in the Torah. This sign has been shared so often that it even got its own Snopes page to figure out whether it's real. Conclusion: Undertermined! Even if it wasn't posted by an actual restaurant, the sentiment is real and deeply felt. So much so that Robert Smigel and Saturday Night Live even wrote a holiday song about it. Source Main page (current trends)
