Delaney "Laney" Ann Brown died on Christmas day from complications from leukemia, just days after her eighth birthday. It was on her birthday, Dec. 20, that Brown made headlines when she received a phone call from Taylor Swift, who had heard about her struggle with leukemia through Make- A-Wish America.
